Sometimes I think my cousin Nate is secretly from Buffalo, he would fit in perfectly here and has the palet to prove it! That’s why I wanted to share his recipe for these super cheesy potatoes. We recently purchased a pig from Sivue Farms, which side note – If you’ve ever thought about purchasing a cow or a pig you totally should! The meat is so good and you find yourself saving so much money. Any who, we had a ham and I don’t know about you but when I think ham I think cheesy potatoes! Let me tell you what, Nate’s potatoes are cheesy and SO EASY TO MAKE! Let’s do this!
Nate’s Cheesy Crockpot Potatoes
- 1 bag of frozen hash browns (square or shredded)
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of cheddar soup.
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1/4 stick of butter
- 1 bag of cheddar cheese
- ½ tbsp. onion flakes
- ½ tbsp. garlic powder
- ½ tbsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
Take all the ingredients and throw them into the crockpot.
Mix everything up and set your crockpot to high and let it go for about 3-4 hours.
Open the crockpot and give the potatoes a good mix and serve them on up!
This whole recipe was super short, but that’s what I love about it! This is the perfect side for ham, burgers, chicken…anything! Enjoy!
