Liz’s Kitchen: Susie’s Slow Cooker Mac & Cheese Recipe

Posted on April 18, 2019April 18, 2019 by Liz Mantel

I am not lying when I say this is the easiest mac & cheese recipe I’ve ever come across. When I was living with my grandma before I moved to Buffalo she taught me how to make mac & cheese with a béchamel sauce. It was sooooo good but took fooorrreveer. However, I was willing to put in the work because it was for her and because it was so delicious. However, when Susie shared her mac & cheese recipe with me my world came crashing down. It was so creamy and it took so much less time and effort to make than the traditional béchamel base. It’s four ingredients and a slow cooker. Get ready.

Pro tip: Invest in slow cooker liners. They are game changers.
